Hanukkah and Menorah

Lauren loves her menorah with birthday candles. There are 8 candles on the menorah, one for each night of Hanukkah. The shamash makes 9. Hanukkah, oh Hanukkah, come light the menorah.
Let's have a party, we'll all dance the horah.
Gather round the table, we'll give you a treat.
With dreidels to play with and latkes to eat.
And while we are playing, the candles are burning low.
One for each night, we ***** the sweet light to remind us of days long ago.
They shed a sweet light? I loved listening to her sing the Hanukah song with the cousins from Israel this year.
